Luis Otero

Head of Technology - Founding Partner

After more than 14 years building application and Solutions for a wide set of different companies, Mr. Otero has gained a vast experience using top technologies, understanding the client needs and producing quality solutions.

At Macgregor/ITG, Luis was Manager, Principal Software Engineer and Project Lead. With a trajectory of more than 7 years within the company, Luis lead in the modeling, design and development of XIP, the ITG leading OMS software. He designed and developed the XIP views architecture and he was also Technical and Activity Lead of important projects like the Software Development Kit (SDK). His contribution was fundamental to the market success of XIP and to ongoing client satisfaction.

Luis holds a bachelor degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineer by the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain (Magna Cum Laude) and a degree of Mechanical Engineer by the Newcastle Upon Tyne University in England. He also holds several certifications in Software and CAD design.
